Northwestern Digital began in Austin, Texas in 1980 designing products for the Texas Instruments 990 and Business System 1300/1500 Main Frame Computer Systems. We Designed and manufactured custom Terminal Control Boards, Memory Controllers & Expansion Boards as well as performance upgrades to the Processor Boards built by Texas Instruments. Northwestern Digital migrated into personal computers and networking and the Cellular Phone Business. The company was relocated to Lenox, Iowa in 1990. Our Retail outlet is The Lenox Computer Store, a division of Northwestern Digital Computers. We have been an Authorized Agent for US Cellular Since 1995.
